Jaipur. The grand Bhagwat Katha Gyan Yagya and Nani Bai Ro Mayro began with a spectacular Kalash Yatra at Alankara Resort, Mansarovar, on Sunday. The seven-day religious event will continue from July 26 to August 1, 2026.
Around 1,100 women participated in the Kalash Yatra, which featured five chariots, traditional music, drums and nagara beats. The procession started from Mohanpura Balaji and culminated at the Katha venue, with the chief yajman, co-yajmans and thousands of devotees participating with great enthusiasm.
Speaking about the event, Girraj Prasad Manak Bohra, president of Vishwa Mangalam Seva Sansthan and the chief organiser, said that the daily programme will begin with worship by the yajmans and co-yajmans from 11 am to 1 pm, followed by the Bhagwat Katha Gyan Yagya from 1 pm to 5 pm. Prasadi will be served after the daily programme. The Nani Bai Ro Mayro will be held every evening from 8 pm to 10 pm.
The organisers said the event is set to be one of the largest Bhagwat Katha events in the southern Jaipur region. On the occasion, devotees paid their respects to revered storyteller Madan Mohan Ji Maharaj. Chief yajman Rajesh Chaudhary, co-yajman Ashok Gupta, Vishwa Mangalam Seva Sansthan patron Om Prakash Gupta, Advocate, along with other co-yajmans and thousands of devotees, were present.
