Jaipur: JECRC University organised its Freshers’ Party 2026 on a Bollywood theme, providing students with an exciting platform to showcase their talents, creativity and confidence. Through performances inspired by their favourite film characters and the glamour of Bollywood, students added colour and enthusiasm to the event.
The celebration aimed to welcome new students to the university and help them connect with the campus environment while providing opportunities to express their creativity and explore their talents.
Inspired by Bollywood, the event featured students dressed in distinctive styles and presenting performances that reflected the diverse elements of the Indian film industry. The celebration encouraged students to interact with their peers, demonstrate their abilities and participate actively in university activities.
Three Rounds of Competition
The event featured three major competition rounds. During the Talent Round, participants showcased their abilities through singing, dancing and other artistic performances. The Introduction Round assessed their personalities, confidence and communication skills, while the Question-and-Answer Round tested their presence of mind, thinking abilities and conversational skills.
Students competed for several titles, including Mr. Fresher, Miss Fresher, Mr. Bollywood, Miss Bollywood, Best Talent and Best Attire. These awards recognised participants' personalities, artistic abilities, stage presence and interpretation of the Bollywood theme.
The judging panel comprised Unnati Tomar and Lakshya Gaur, who evaluated the participants on their performances, confidence, creativity and communication skills.
Focus on Creativity and Holistic Development
Dhimant Agrawal, Head of Digital Strategies at JECRC University, said, "In today's world, students need more than academic knowledge. The ability to communicate effectively, think creatively and keep pace with emerging technologies is equally important. Such events provide students with opportunities to recognise their talents and present them before others. These platforms not only build confidence but also motivate students to establish their identities on digital platforms and communicate their ideas more effectively."
