Jaipur .The 88th free eye check-up and spectacle distribution camp was organized by the Road Safety Line and Road Safety Cell under the Transport Commissioner, Rajasthan, Jaipur, at Ramaj Resort near Tonk Road, Chaksu–Niwai.
During the camp, eye examinations were conducted for various vision problems, including near and distance sight. A total of 101 drivers were examined, out of which 63 drivers with eyesight were provided free spectacles along with eye medicines.
The technical team for the camp included Jaswinder and Anant Lakotia. Ramaj Resort owner Mohit Tailor extended support by providing the banquet hall free of cost for organizing the camp.
Secretary Pratap Bhatia informed that the next camp will be organized in Sikar, aiming to ensure better vision for drivers traveling on highways.
Drivers were also educated about basic road safety rules, such as driving in their designated lane and avoiding driving under the influence of alcohol. The RTO played a significant role in the successful conduct of this camp.
