RCA Adhoc Committee Meets CM Bhajan Lal Sharma and Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Expresses Gratitude

 

Jaipur.The Adhoc Committee of the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) met Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore to express their gratitude and reaffirm their commitment towards the development of cricket in the state.

According to RCA Adhoc Committee Convenor Dr Mohit Jaswant Yadav, the Chief Minister has entrusted the newly formed committee with the responsibility of reviving cricket in Rajasthan, resolving long-pending disputes, and creating better opportunities and facilities for young players to perform at higher levels. He said the committee is working tirelessly to fulfill this responsibility.

The delegation, including members Dhananjay Singh Khinvsar, Ashish Tiwari, Arjun Beniwal, and Arisht Singhvi, met the Chief Minister at his residence and assured him of their dedication to taking the Rajasthan Cricket Association to new heights. They emphasized their focus on building a strong and modern sports infrastructure to support young cricketers across the state.

The committee also met Sports Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore and briefed him about the decisions being taken to promote cricket and improve RCA’s sports activities in Rajasthan.

As part of its ongoing efforts, the RCA Adhoc Committee recently held its third meeting, where several key issues were discussed. These included full support to the state government and Rajasthan Royals for organizing Indian Premier League matches in Jaipur, improvements in domestic cricket operations, better coordination with district cricket associations, and resolving pending issues to enhance facilities at the district level.

The committee also discussed plans for organizing the Rajasthan Premier League (RPL), coordination with the State Sports Council, hosting an RCA awards ceremony to honor players representing Rajasthan at national level, and reviewing the construction progress of the international cricket stadium in Jaipur.

Additionally, disputes related to district cricket associations were reviewed in detail. The committee stated that all issues will be resolved through proper legal processes. In accordance with court orders, the current executive body of the Hanumangarh District Cricket Association, led by Arjun Beniwal, has been given full अधिकार and responsibility for operations, and the association has been granted full recognition by the RCA, ensuring that no disputes remain in the district.
