Akshendra Welfare Society Launches Massive “Parinda Campaign” for Bird and Environment Conservation


 Jaipur. Amid the intense summer heat, when not only humans but also helpless birds struggle for water and food, Akshendra Welfare Society organised a remarkable and large-scale “Parinda Campaign” at Patrika Gate on JLN Marg, Jaipur.

The campaign aimed to provide water and food for birds suffering due to the scorching heat while also spreading awareness about environmental conservation. More than 100 volunteers of the society enthusiastically participated in the initiative and demonstrated a strong spirit of social service.

Under the campaign, over 500 bird water pots (parindas) were installed at various locations with proper arrangements for water and bird feed. Tree plantation activities were also carried out to help maintain ecological balance. Additionally, 10 earthen water pots were placed for devotees and passersby visiting the nearby temple so that people could get access to cool drinking water during the summer.

The programme began with an impactful street play performed by volunteers, highlighting the importance of environmental protection, water conservation, and compassion towards birds. The performance inspired people to realise their responsibility towards nature and wildlife.

On the occasion, B. S. Rawat, Chairman of Rawat Educational Group⁠� and President of the society, said that social service is not just a responsibility but the greatest form of humanity. He added that installing even one parinda for birds is like saving a life and every individual should contribute to such noble efforts.

Senior advocate and BJP leader Dr. Akhil Shukla, social worker and BJP Jaipur District IT Coordinator Rajesh Gautam, and Garhwal Sabha Vice President Buddhi Prasad Sati were among the distinguished guests who appreciated the campaign.

Society Secretary and Director of Rawat Educational Group Narendra Singh Rawat informed that the society organises the Parinda Campaign every year along with several social service activities including food donation, clothes donation, community service, and charity programmes. He stated that such campaigns strengthen compassion and service-mindedness in society. So far, more than 30,000 parindas have been installed, and there are plans to expand the campaign further in the future.

Society Treasurer Dr. Akshita Rawat encouraged all volunteers to actively participate in social service and continue making efforts towards environmental conservation.

Several dignitaries and members including Kalpana Rawat, Dinesh Bisht, Ravi Bisht, Deepak Bohra, Virendra, Rakesh Chauhan, Amit Sharma, Kanhaiya Lal Bhurani, Madhu Bhurani, Somendra Sharma, Anjali Gyanani, Dharmendra Gyanani, Rakhi Chaudhary, and Yashpal Singh were present during the programme. The District Legal Authority also extended its support to the initiative.

At the conclusion of the programme, all participants pledged to work towards environmental protection, water conservation, and the safety of birds. Maitreyi Shukla and Academic Head Rajesh Kantharia expressed gratitude to all guests, volunteers, and supporters.
