Jaipur. A creative and presentation-oriented workshop on ‘Theatre in Education’ is being organised at Shaheed Lieutenant Abhay Pareek Government School, Gandhi Nagar, with the support of the North Central Zone Cultural Centre (NCZCC), Prayagraj, Ministry of Culture, Government of India, and the Education Department, Government of Rajasthan.
Conceptualised by Sudesh Sharma, Director of the North Central Zone Cultural Centre, the Theatre in Education presentation workshop is being conducted across the zone's participating states, including Rajasthan.
The workshop is being conducted under the direction of Jaipur-based Theatre in Education practitioner Gagan Mishra. It commenced on July 3 and will continue until July 30. As part of the workshop, students will also present a theatrical performance based on a topic from their academic curriculum, using theatre as a creative tool for learning.
