Jaipur: A vibrant blend of art, craftsmanship, music and festive celebrations attracted visitors to the Diwali Flea Market held at Kalaneri Art Gallery on JLN Marg on Saturday. The event featured more than 40 stalls showcasing a wide variety of handcrafted and artistic products, along with an entertaining evening of songs, ghazals and cultural performances.

Gallery owner Saumya Vijay Sharma said the flea market was organised around the theme “One Vendor, One Art,” providing a platform for artists and artisans to showcase their unique creations. Renowned jewellery designer Dharmendra Bhalla visited the market as a special guest and appreciated the initiative.

Traditional Indian crafts and GI-tagged products emerged as major attractions. Visitors showed particular interest in Blue Pottery, Sanganeri and Bagru block prints, Pichwai paintings and Molela terracotta art, reflecting the richness of Rajasthan's artistic heritage.

Apart from shopping, the event offered a range of cultural activities, including open-mic performances, ghazals, songs, poetry recitations, musical interactions, literary discussions and a daylight show. A variety of food stalls added flavour to the festive atmosphere.

Interactive workshops on Tarakashi, bottle art and terracotta also received an enthusiastic response from visitors.

The two-day flea market, which offers free entry, will conclude on Sunday.
