New Delhi: Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari participated in a departmental summit held in New Delhi on Wednesday under the chairpersonship of Union Minister for Women and Child Development Annapurna Devi.
During the summit, Diya Kumari highlighted the significant initiatives and innovations being undertaken in Rajasthan and other states in the areas of women’s empowerment, child welfare, girls’ education, nutrition and Anganwadi services.
She said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, continuous efforts are being made to empower women, promote education for girls and ensure a healthy and secure future for children.
Highlighting the priorities of the Rajasthan Government, the Deputy Chief Minister said it is the government’s commitment to provide every girl in the state with equal opportunities for education and progress. She added that continuous efforts are also being made to ensure a safe, healthy and bright future for every woman and child.
The summit witnessed discussions on various issues, schemes, innovations and initiatives related to women and child development being implemented across different states.
