Jaipur: Jaipur’s Niharika Rathore has won the ‘The Miss Globe India’ title and is set to represent India at the prestigious international beauty pageant to be held in Phuket, Thailand. She is being described as the first participant from Rajasthan to represent India at The Miss Globe.
The international competition will bring together participants from different countries, who will showcase their talent, personality and cultural heritage.
Niharika is currently pursuing her first year of LLB at Jaipur National University (JNU). Her father, Ajit Singh Rathore, is associated with the property business, while her mother, Meenakshi Rathore, is a homemaker. Alongside her studies, Niharika has been pursuing opportunities in the fashion and beauty pageant industry.
From Miss Rajasthan to the International Stage
Niharika had earlier participated in the prestigious Miss Rajasthan pageant. However, a leg injury prevented her from achieving the position she had hoped for. She continued to pursue her aspirations and later made a fresh start through the Miss Fusion India platform, which provides participants an opportunity to represent India at international beauty competitions such as The Miss Globe.
Special Preparations Underway in Jaipur
Niharika’s mentors and Miss Globe India organisers Yogesh Mishra and Nimisha Mishra said that special preparations are underway for her international appearance. Work is being carried out on her national costume, gown round and outfits for various presentations.
Prominent Jaipur-based fashion designers are creating outfits that will showcase a blend of Indian culture, Rajasthan’s traditional heritage and contemporary fashion on the international stage.
The organisers said that special focus is also being given to Niharika’s personality development, stage presence, communication skills and other aspects required for the international competition. Madhuri Chetwani of Dresszilla will design the gown that Niharika will showcase at the international platform.
Miss Globe Has a Connection with Sushmita Sen
The Miss Globe also has a connection with Indian beauty pageant history. The competition was previously organised under Sushmita Sen’s ‘I Am She’ platform.
Niharika Rathore’s participation as India’s representative at the international platform is being seen as a significant achievement for Jaipur and Rajasthan. Her journey from participating in a state-level pageant to earning an opportunity on an international stage reflects the importance of perseverance and confidence in pursuing one’s aspirations.
