Jaipur, October 7: Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phule University (MJRPU), Jaipur, witnessed the vibrant launch of ‘Youth Vibrance 2026 – Fresher Vibes’ at its Sodala campus on Wednesday. Organised to welcome new students, the event was filled with fashion, music, entertainment and energetic performances that created an atmosphere of excitement and enthusiasm.
The fresher students showcased their talent, confidence and creativity, making the event a memorable beginning to their university journey.
Students Showcase Style at Fashion Walk
The programme began with ‘Fresher Vibes – Fashion Walk’, where students walked the ramp in attractive outfits and showcased their individual style and confidence. Their performances received an enthusiastic response from the audience, with the campus echoing with applause.
Kriti Sharma Mesmerises Audience with Her Voice
The fashion walk was followed by ‘Rooh-E-Mausiqi – Musical Programme’, featuring popular singer and Sa Re Ga Ma Pa fame Kriti Sharma. Her soulful performances captivated the students and audience, who were seen enjoying the music and dancing to the melodies.
On the occasion, the university honoured Kriti Sharma with the ‘Rooh-E-Mausiqi Award’ for her contribution to the field of music. The university has been presenting the award for the past 10 years to artists who have made a notable contribution to music.
This year, Kriti Sharma was felicitated by University Chairperson Nirmal Panwar. On receiving the honour, Sharma expressed her gratitude to the university.
Students Groove to DJ Beats
The energy level rose further with a performance by DJ Sync Audiobat. Students danced enthusiastically to the DJ beats and enjoyed the lively atmosphere. Music, dance and youthful energy added to the excitement of the fresher celebrations, with students also capturing memorable moments on their cameras.
Chairperson Encourages Students
Addressing the students, University Chairperson Nirmal Panwar said that Youth Vibrance 2026 was not merely an entertainment programme but a platform to showcase and nurture the talent, confidence and creativity of young people.
He said the university aims to provide students with quality education along with ample opportunities to develop their talents and achieve their goals.
Encouraging the students, Panwar said that dreaming big is essential for success, but achieving those dreams requires continuous hard work, discipline and a positive approach. He urged the youth to channel their energy in the right direction and treat every opportunity as a chance to learn and grow.
He extended his best wishes to the students and expressed hope that they would bring pride to the university and their families through their talent and achievements.
According to the university administration, Youth Vibrance 2026 aims to familiarise new students with the academic and cultural environment of the university while providing them with a platform to showcase their talents. The initiative also seeks to promote interaction, confidence and a positive atmosphere among students.
