Shreekant Samaria of Kumar Vishwas Trust Distributes Diwali Sweets and Puja Kits to Hundreds of Underprivileged Families

Inspired by renowned poet Dr. Kumar Vishwas, the Vishwas Trust and its extended family of supporters, Vishwasam, organized a large-scale distribution of Diwali puja kits, traditional clay lamps (diyas), sweets, and other festive essentials across hundreds of locations throughout India.

As part of this initiative, on Friday, social worker and Vishwas Trust member Shreekant Samaria reached out to over 100 underprivileged families in the Raja Park area of Jaipur, providing them with everything needed to celebrate Diwali.

Driven by the motto "Let no home remain in darkness", the Trust had appealed to its vast network of followers and volunteers to ensure that even the most economically challenged families could celebrate the festival of lights. In response, thousands of supporters across the country distributed clay diyas, oil, wicks, puja kits, sweets, fruits, and clothes to families in need.

Samaria also led a distribution drive at the Kacchi Basti in Jawahar Nagar, where over 100 families received Diwali essentials. Additionally, sweets and lamps were shared with residents of the leprosy ashram on Agra Road, bringing joy and brightness to their celebrations.

This initiative not only aimed to light up dark homes but also promote the 'Vocal for Local' spirit by encouraging people to buy Diwali items from local vendors, thereby supporting small businesses. The campaign titled "Vishwas Ka Diya" (The Lamp of Faith) symbolized a collective effort to drive away darkness—both literal and metaphorical—and celebrate Diwali with inclusiveness and compassion.

Shreekant Samaria emphasized that under Dr. Kumar Vishwas’s inspiration, efforts are continuously being made not just during festivals, but also in areas like children's education and overall community development.
