Jaipur.The grand inauguration ceremony of the Canvi Premier Kabaddi League (CPKL) Season 2 took place today with great enthusiasm and excitement at Hotel Prime Safari, Jaipur. The event marked the unveiling of the Season 2 Grand Trophy and the formal introduction of the eight participating teams — MP Titans, Haryana Heroes, Gujarat Gladiators, Dhakad Delhi, Mumbai Monarchs, Rajasthan Rebels, Kolkata Kings, and Dabang UP.
The event was graced by several distinguished guests, including star kabaddi player Pradeep Narwal, CPKL Founder and Director Shiv Kumar Beniwal, and Deepak Rai. Among the dignitaries present were Jaipur Mayor Soumya Gurjar, Raghav Goyal (Director, Hotel Safari), Sunil Sharma (President, Sanganer), Anil Chaudhary, and Ashok Jat, whose presence added prestige to the ceremony.
International kabaddi player and CPKL icon Pradeep Narwal, along with Commonwealth medalist wrestler Pooja Sihag, attended as special guests, inspiring players and fans alike.
Speaking on the occasion, Shiv Kumar Beniwal, Founder of the Canvi Premier Kabaddi League, said that CPKL aims to give Indian kabaddi a new dimension by providing a platform for young Indian talent to gain recognition at the international level. The league is organized under the aegis of the Canvi Sports Federation, which is dedicated to offering world-class opportunities to emerging athletes.
Season 2 of CPKL is set to be hosted soon in Dubai, where this traditional Indian sport will shine on an international stage. The grand launch event was curated and managed by Missnatic Sports, which ensured it was both spectacular and memorable.
The event saw the participation of prominent sports personalities, social media influencers, and representatives from various states, making it a truly historic occasion.
