NIF Global Jaipur, Kamla Poddar Group Showcases India’s ‘Design Story’ at Dubai Fashion Week 2026

Jaipur: India’s emerging fashion talent once again made a powerful mark on the international runway as students from NIF Global Jaipur, Kamla Poddar Group presented concept-based collections at Dubai Fashion Week 2026. Their showcase demonstrated that contemporary fashion is no longer just about clothing, but a compelling medium of ideas, identity, and storytelling. Through modern structure, clear narratives, and confident self-expression, the collections reflected the evolving global language of fashion.

The leadership of NIF Global Jaipur described the participation as a major opportunity for students to “think internationally and become industry-ready.” According to them, such global platforms train students to translate creative concepts into an internationally relevant design language, enabling them to meet both artistic and professional expectations.

Key Concept Narratives Presented

Cruella De-Vil: Inspired by the fearless fictional persona Cruella de Vil, this collection celebrated bold individuality and unapologetic self-expression, delivering a strong statement-driven runway story.

Regal Aura: Influenced by the timeless elegance and refined sophistication of Deepika Padukone, the collection reimagined classic glamour in a contemporary form.

Glamour Reborn: A reinterpretation of early-2000s glamour aesthetics blended with modern trends and finishing techniques.

Cleopatra: Drawing inspiration from Cleopatra as a symbol of power, grace, and iconic femininity, the designs featured commanding silhouettes and a royal presence.

The Spirited Muse: Inspired by the Himachali roots of Preity Zinta, this narrative integrated the traditional Chamba Rumal embroidery with modern detailing—representing heritage, strength, and a “grounded yet global” identity.

This international participation reinforces NIF Global Jaipur’s vision of taking fashion education beyond classrooms by connecting students with global platforms, industry exposure, and professional practice. The institute provides flexible study schedules while offering opportunities to engage with major design ecosystems such as Lakmé Fashion Week and global fashion hubs including New York City and London.

Aligned with India’s National Education Policy (NEP 2020), the institute also focuses on skill-based and employment-oriented training in beauty and design management through collaborations with National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) and Medhavi Skills University (MSU).

NIF Global’s style icon Ananya Panday is known for her modern flair, while guidance from industry mentors such as Gauri Khan, Manish Malhotra, Twinkle Khanna, and Ashley Rebello provides students with practical insights and professional direction—helping them progress in alignment with the real demands of the global fashion industry.
