Grand Opening of ‘Design Fest 2026’ and ‘Manthan–Kala Sangam’ at Poddar International College

 

Jaipur, April 1: The Design Department of Poddar International College has grandly launched “Design Fest 2026” and “Manthan–Kala Sangam,” scheduled from March 31 to April 4, 2026. The event began with a traditional lamp-lighting ceremony in the presence of Dr. Anand Poddar, along with distinguished guests Ram H. Singhal, Pankaj Kothari, Reema Kothari, and Sheetal Kumar Agrawal.

The primary objective of the आयोजन is to provide a dynamic platform for young minds to showcase their creativity, innovation, and talent. A variety of competitions are being organized as part of the fest, including “Waste to Wow (Scrap to Shine),” Reel Making Competition, Painting Competition, and T-Shirt Designing Competition. Participants from different age groups can take part either individually or in teams.

In the “Waste to Wow” competition, participants are required to create useful and attractive items from waste materials. The Reel Making Competition challenges participants to present the highlights of the fest through a 30-second video. Meanwhile, Painting and T-Shirt Designing competitions offer a platform to display artistic expression and design skills.

Under “Manthan–Kala Sangam,” several engaging events are being आयोजित such as Meme Marketing Championship, IPL Auction, Corporate Roadies, Debate, Ad Reel, Full Stack Face Off, and Case Solutions Saga. A DJ Night is also set to be one of the major attractions of the fest.

One of the key highlights of the event has been the appreciation received by participants for their fashion articles from national and international fashion designers, boosting the morale of students.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Anand Poddar said that such events provide students with opportunities to refine their talents and move forward in the direction of innovation. Vice Chairperson Rupal Poddar added that the institution is also promoting women empowerment through such initiatives.
