NSUI Protests LPG Cylinder Shortage Outside Rajasthan University Gate in Jaipur

Jaipur. Members of the National Students' Union of India staged a protest outside the main gate of University of Rajasthan on Saturday against the increasing shortage of LPG cylinders and the policies of the central government.

The protest was organized following the directions of NSUI national president Vinod Jakhar. During the demonstration, student leaders symbolically prepared tea on a traditional stove to highlight the difficulties being faced due to the shortage of LPG cylinders.

NSUI Rajasthan spokesperson Amardeep Parihar said the shortage is affecting hostels and mess facilities across the country, where students are struggling to get timely meals as many kitchens have been forced to shut down. He added that the shortage of both domestic and commercial cylinders has created problems not only for cooking but also for automobile users who depend on gas.

Parihar criticized the central government, stating that while it is focusing on strengthening foreign policy, it has failed to address the basic needs of the common people. He also alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not been able to resolve the issue affecting daily life.

Several student leaders were present during the protest, including NSUI state general secretary Vikram Saini, NSUI unit president Kishor Chaudhary, and student leaders Mahesh Chaudhary, Rajendra Gora, Ritu Barala, Mohit Yadav, Ravindra Mahalawat, Rajendra Phagi, Hitesh Yadav, Rishi Bhati, Vaibhav Dev and Meghraj Gurjar.
