Jaipur.The Sarv Brahmin Mahasabha formally commenced the celebrations of Lord Parshuram Jayanti with Vedic rituals at the Ganesh Temple in Moti Dungri, Jaipur. The event began with the ceremonial Ganesh Nimantran (invitation to Lord Ganesha), marking the start of a 15-day-long grand celebration.
On this occasion, National President Pt. Suresh Mishra, along with his wife Neelam Mishra and several prominent saints and priests including Sudarshan Acharya (Ghat ke Balaji), Acharya Rajeshwar Ji, Sanjay Goswami (Ladli Temple), Trivikamacharya Ji Maharaj, Lokesh Mishra (Prachin Shyam Temple), and Pt. Nitish Chaturvedi from Geeta Gayatri Temple, performed the rituals. Representatives from Mehandipur Balaji, including Sudeep Tiwari, were also present. The ceremony was conducted with Vedic chants and devotional recitations.
Jaipur City President Ajay Sharma informed that this year, Parshuram Jayanti will be celebrated not only across Rajasthan and India but also in 10 major countries worldwide, including Australia, New Zealand, London, Canada, Italy, the United States, Bangkok, Dubai, Qatar, and Poland. Grand celebrations will be held on April 19 (Akshaya Tritiya) at all these locations, along with Shastra Pujan ceremonies in state capitals across India.
He further added that various programs such as processions, devotional singing (kirtan), and felicitation ceremonies will be organized for 15 days across Rajasthan—from district headquarters to tehsil and village levels.
During the event, State President Dinesh Sharma, National General Secretary (Women Wing) Savita Sharma, Jaipur City President Ajay Sharma, Organization General Secretary Parminder Sharma, Youth Wing Jaipur Division President Dinesh Sharma, Jaipur Division President Anil Saraswat, General Secretary Manoj Mishra, and Legal Cell State President Advocate Kamlesh Sharma, along with other office bearers, participated in the पूजा-अर्चना and Ganesh invitation ceremony. Cutouts and colorful stickers of Lord Parshuram were also unveiled.
More than 200 members and dignitaries from various Brahmin community groups attended the release ceremony. The atmosphere turned devotional as youth chanted slogans in praise of Lord Ganesha and Lord Parshuram.
On this occasion, National President Pt. Suresh Mishra stated that the 15-day-long celebrations have officially begun and will continue across the state with processions, kirtans, and various cultural and religious programs.
