State’s Largest Sudarshan Puja and Yajna Concluded at Gupt Vrindavan Dham

 

Jaipur.The grand inauguration of the 14th Patotsav Mahotsav 2026 was held at Gupt Vrindavan Dham on the auspicious occasion of the appearance festival of Shri Shri Krishna Balaram.

On the sacred occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, the deities were adorned with the divine sandalwood (Chandan) decoration, a ritual performed only once a year. A properly conducted Sudarshan Puja and Sudarshan Yajna were also completed in the temple premises. During the ceremony, the Sudarshan Chakra was ceremonially anointed, and a new flag was hoisted atop the temple spire.

Notably, the Sudarshan Chakra installed here is considered the largest in the state, measuring 8 feet and positioned at a height of approximately 100 feet.

With this, the four-day Patotsav Mahotsav has officially commenced.

On April 21, cultural programs will be held, featuring Bharatanatyam and Kathak dance performances, along with an attractive presentation of Radha-Krishna’s Phoolon Ki Holi.

On April 22, a grand Shri Shri Krishna Balaram Rath Yatra will be organized from 6 PM onwards. The procession will begin at Jagatpura Flyover and pass through Khatu Shyam Circle, Radha Rani Circle, and Akshay Patra Circle before concluding at Gupt Vrindavan Dham via Hare Krishna Marg.

On April 23, the festival will conclude with the Mahabhishek of Shri Shri Krishna Balaram and a concluding Yajna.

Temple President Amitasana Das has appealed to all devotees to participate in large numbers and be part of the celebrations.
