Tourists Pay Tribute to Brigadier Maharaja Bhawani Singh at Nahargarh Fort

 

Jaipur. On the death anniversary of Brigadier Maharaja Bhawani Singh, tourists and locals paid heartfelt tribute at the Jaipur Wax Museum located in Nahargarh Fort. Visitors offered floral garlands at his wax statue and remembered his legacy.

Museum founder Anup Srivastava said that Bhawani Singh was not only the Maharaja of Jaipur but also a true national hero. He highlighted the Brigadier’s bravery during the Indo-Pak War of 1971, which continues to inspire the youth.

He further added that the wax statue was unveiled on October 22 by Diya Kumari, daughter of Bhawani Singh. On this occasion, the museum organized a special tribute event with tourists, and announced plans to hold similar programs every year on his birth and death anniversaries to connect the younger generation with his valor.

Hundreds of tourists paid homage by offering marigold garlands and taking photographs with the statue, remembering his military contributions.

Brigadier Bhawani Singh was a hero of the 1971 India-Pakistan war and was awarded the Maha Vir Chakra. He was also the last Maharaja of Jaipur and commanded the 10 Para (Special Forces), playing a significant role in the Bangladesh Liberation War.
