Jaipur. A special “Rajasthan Royals Meet and Greet” program was organized at Poornima University on Wednesday, where Rajasthan Royals players and team officials interacted with nearly 3,000 students. The event also witnessed the unveiling of the team’s Pink Promise jersey.
Rajasthan Royals Head Coach Kumar Sangakkara, along with players Nandre Burger, Dasun Shanaka, Ravi Bishnoi, and Tushar Deshpande, interacted with students during the program.
University Chairperson Shashikant Singhi, Advisor Renu Singhi, and President Dr. Suresh Chandra Padhi welcomed the guests by presenting them with traditional Rajasthani turbans. Rajasthan Royals COO Alok Chitre, Rajasthan Royals Foundation Community Leader Mohari Devi, and Neha Swami were also present at the event.
During the program, Rajasthan Royals players and team management launched new academic programs jointly introduced by Poornima University and Australia’s Southern Cross University, including BCA Global, BA Performing Arts, and BSc Forensic Science courses.
Rajasthan Royals also announced that during their match against Gujarat Titans on May 9, every six hit in the game will help provide solar power to six homes. The team will take the field wearing their all-pink jersey, symbolizing their continued commitment to women-led transformation and social impact initiatives.
