Jaipur. Renowned Indian ghazal singer Ranjeet Rajwada has achieved a historic milestone by becoming the first Indian singer to perform at the prestigious Lloyd’s of London, presenting his ghazals in the institution’s historic Old Library.
The special performance was held as part of the South Asian Heritage Month celebrations, where Rajwada captivated the audience with Indian music and ghazals. The performance is being seen as a significant achievement for Indian music and ghazal singing, bringing the country’s rich musical heritage to one of the world’s renowned institutions.
Rajwada’s “UK Tour 2026 – A Journey Through Ghazals” spanned 14 days and covered four cities—London, Chelmsford, Bristol and Birmingham. He performed at seven concerts, reaching more than 1,500 music lovers, while his team travelled approximately 2,000 miles during the tour.
The tour began on July 18 with Mehfil-e-Indybedi at Chelsea Theatre in London. This was followed by An Evening with Ranjeet Rajwada in Chelmsford on July 19, a performance at the Lions Club in East London on July 21, and a special South Asian Heritage Month celebration at the Lloyd’s Building on July 22.
The musical journey continued with a Xenelsoft Corporate Event in Bristol on July 25, followed by a Souljam-organised programme at Harrow Arts Centre, London, on July 30. The tour concluded on July 31 in Oldbury, Birmingham, with An Evening of Ghazals with Ranjeet Rajwada.

The international tour was promoted and managed by Hansdeep Singh and Sifat Events, who played an important role in coordinating and organising the programmes across various UK cities.
