Jaipur. Hingonia Cow Rehabilitation Centre, one of Rajasthan’s largest institutions dedicated to cow care, took another significant step towards social responsibility with the inauguration of ‘Akshay Vidyalaya’. The school aims to go beyond conventional education by nurturing disciplined, compassionate and responsible citizens while integrating academic learning with moral values, service, compassion and Indian culture.
The school was inaugurated by Gurcharan Gill, Senior Advocate at the Rajasthan High Court; Vijay Poonia, member of the High Court Committee for Hingonia Cow Rehabilitation Centre; and former Jaipur Municipal Corporation Greater Mayor Soumya Gurjar.
Addressing the gathering, Gurcharan Gill said that the future of any nation depends on its education system. He emphasised that the purpose of education is not merely to produce doctors, engineers or government officials, but to develop citizens who uphold values such as honesty, sensitivity, dedication to duty and patriotism. He added that when education is combined with strong values, a sense of morality and social responsibility naturally develops in society.
Vijay Poonia and Soumya Gurjar also appreciated the establishment of the school and praised the service-oriented efforts of the Hingonia Cow Rehabilitation Centre. They said the initiative would provide children from the surrounding area with access to quality education and help establish a new benchmark for education in the rural region.
The school will focus on modern education along with Indian culture, moral education, environmental conservation, cow welfare, yoga, discipline, personality development and social responsibility. The objective is not merely to help students achieve good marks in examinations, but to prepare them to become successful, sensitive and responsible citizens in every sphere of life.
Education as the Foundation of an Empowered Society
Hingonia Cow Rehabilitation Centre Trustee Raghupati Das said education becomes meaningful when it provides individuals not only with knowledge but also with wisdom, compassion, morality and a spirit of service. He said a society where education and values go hand in hand creates the foundation for strong families, responsible citizens and a developed nation.
‘Akshay Vidyalaya’ is a humble initiative aimed at realising this vision. The school is expected to become a strong foundation for the bright future of children not only associated with the cow rehabilitation centre but also from the entire Hingonia area.
Office bearers of the Cow Rehabilitation Centre, guests, educationists, social workers, cow-care volunteers, villagers and a large number of local residents attended the inauguration ceremony.
