Jaipur: The Federation of All India Caterers (FAIC), the apex national body representing India’s catering industry, has announced the 6th FAIC National Convention & Exhibition — CaterCon India 2026. The three-day national event will be held from August 1 to 3, 2026, at the Jaipur Exhibition & Convention Centre (JECC), Jaipur. The event will be inaugurated by Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma and Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani.
Thousands of catering and hospitality professionals, entrepreneurs, suppliers, manufacturers, service providers and industry experts from across the country are expected to participate in the convention. The event will provide an important platform for knowledge exchange, networking, business collaborations, new technologies and meaningful discussions on the future of the industry.
As part of the awards ceremony, Rajya Sabha MP Satish Poonia will honour the top three caterers in each of 16 categories from each of the 18 participating states. The initiative is being described as one of the most extensive and prestigious state-wise recognition programmes in the history of the Indian catering industry. The awards aim to promote innovation, quality, professional excellence and healthy competition, inspiring caterers across the country to set new benchmarks in the industry.
Established in Mumbai on September 26, 2013, the Federation of All India Caterers has emerged as one of the country’s most influential industry organisations. The federation has more than 5,000 active members across 18 states. In line with its motto, “For the Caterers, By the Caterers,” FAIC continues to work towards organising the catering industry, promoting professional excellence, encouraging innovation and taking Indian catering and hospitality standards to new heights.

FAIC Honorary Senior General Secretary Kirit Budhdev said, “Following the successful national conventions held in Ahmedabad (2014), Mumbai (2016), Jaipur (2018), Gandhinagar (2022) and Hyderabad (2024), this sixth edition represents the continued growth and unity of the Indian catering industry. Over three days, delegates will have numerous opportunities to learn and expand their businesses through expert-led seminars, technical workshops, business networking sessions, panel discussions, product demonstrations and cultural programmes.”
A major attraction of the convention will be a special motivational address by internationally renowned motivational speaker and business coach Dr Vivek Bindra, who will share insights on entrepreneurship, leadership and business growth.
In addition, leading food safety auditor, trainer and consultant Dr V. Pasupathy will address technical sessions on FSSAI regulations, ISO 22000, HACCP, GMP and GHP. His sessions will help participants gain a better understanding of food safety, quality management and global standards.

More than 3,000 registered delegates are expected to attend the convention. They will include outdoor and indoor caterers, hospitality professionals, banquet operators, hoteliers, restaurant and café owners, bakery specialists, dairy entrepreneurs, food manufacturers and representatives from various allied service sectors.
The exhibition being held alongside the convention will feature more than 500 exhibitors, showcasing the latest commercial kitchen equipment, food products, beverages, ingredients, packaging solutions, software, logistics, hospitality services and advanced technological and business solutions for the catering industry.
According to the organisers, more than 25,000 trade visitors are expected to attend the three-day exhibition, making it one of India’s largest dedicated exhibitions for the catering and food service industry.
Along with knowledge sessions and business meetings, participants will have opportunities to take part in networking programmes, cultural evenings, entertainment events, product launches, live cooking and culinary demonstrations, as well as strategic partnerships with manufacturers, suppliers and entrepreneurs.
Over the years, the FAIC National Convention has evolved beyond being a biennial event and has become a national movement aimed at strengthening the Indian catering industry through collaboration, knowledge sharing, innovation, quality standards and sustainable business development.
