Jaipur. Kanoria School of Law for Women, Jaipur, hosted its first annual convocation and awards ceremony on July 25, 2026, marking a memorable occasion for the institution, faculty members and students. Degrees awarded by Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Law University, Jaipur, were conferred upon the B.A. LL.B. students of the 2020–25 batch.
The institute's Director, Dr. Rashmi Chaturvedi, highlighted the college's achievements and future vision. Principal Dr. Vartika Arora presented the annual report, outlining the academic and co-curricular activities conducted during 2025–26. She said it was a matter of great pride and happiness that an institution which began in 2018 with just five students has now grown to nearly 400 students and continues to progress steadily.
The special guest, Professor (Dr.) Nishta Jaswal, Vice-Chancellor of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Law University, Jaipur, guided the graduating students through her insightful address. Referring to the Upanishads, Bhagavad Gita and the teachings of Swami Vivekananda, she encouraged the students to face life's challenges with patience and self-control and move forward with confidence, positive thinking, inner strength and determination.
The chief guest, Professor (Dr.) Paramjeet Singh Jaswal, Principal Advisor-Education, Chairman's Office, SRM Group, wished the students a bright future and shared valuable lessons for success in practical life. Referring to the thoughts of Nelson Mandela and Swami Vivekananda, he said that a degree is not the end of one's journey but the beginning of a new phase of struggle and responsibility. He encouraged students to continue moving forward with perseverance, knowledge and self-confidence.
During the main convocation ceremony, degrees were conferred upon the graduating students. Institute Chairman Sunil Nath congratulated all the graduates and wished them success in their future careers. He inspired them to strive to become renowned advocates in the country and emphasised the importance of remaining dedicated to their goals and continuing to learn throughout life.
Meritorious students were subsequently felicitated, with cash prizes awarded to semester toppers. Winners of the Intra-Moot Court Competition and other competitions were also honoured. A captivating dance performance by the students was another highlight of the event.
The programme was conducted by Assistant Professor Dr. Surbhi Parakh, while Assistant Professor Ms. Nirupama Gehlot proposed the vote of thanks. The ceremony concluded formally with the national anthem.
