Jaipur. A grand religious celebration was organized at Tatkaleshwar Mahadev Temple in Shyopur village during the holy month of Shravan. Organized by Mahavir Tailor and Ramavatar Tailor, the event featured a Sahastra Ghata Abhishek, 56 Bhog, a beautifully decorated floral tableau (Phool Bangla), and a Maha Aarti illuminated with 1,111 earthen lamps.
The rituals were conducted by Ramesh Sharma, who performed the Sahastra Ghata ceremony with Vedic chants. Lord Shiva was ceremonially bathed with fragrant substances and fruit juices, followed by special prayers and worship. A floral shrine was created, and offerings of cooling fruits and sweets were presented to the deity. A Ram Darbar tableau with Chhappan Bhog was also arranged.
The celebration included a devotional procession accompanied by the India Famous Jiya Band, after which devotees participated in the Maha Aarti with 1,111 lamps. The organizers also performed Rudrabhishek, a sacred ritual dedicated to Lord Shiva's Rudra form, believed to remove planetary afflictions and obstacles.
Devotees offered Dal Baati Churma and over 100 varieties of sweets to Lord Shiva before distributing the sacred prasad among attendees.
According to Mohit and Sohit Tailor, prominent members of the Namdev community, residents of Shyopur village, local traders, friends, and devotees participated enthusiastically in the grand religious event.
