Jaipur: Hariyali Teej and Independence Day were celebrated with traditional fervour, cultural vibrancy and patriotic spirit at the Sodala campus of MJRPU University. Teachers, staff members and students participated enthusiastically in the celebrations.
On the occasion of Hariyali Teej, women faculty members, female employees and daily-wage women workers celebrated together, conveying a message of women empowerment, mutual harmony and cultural unity.
The programme was attended by MJRPU University Chairman Nirmal Panwar as the chief guest. The event began with a Ganesh Vandana, followed by the ceremonial lighting of the lamp by Pratibha Panwar of MJRPU Group, marking the formal inauguration of the programme. Students then presented various performances based on patriotism and Indian culture.

On the occasion of Independence Day, students delivered patriotic speeches and presented captivating dance and singing performances. Teachers and Students Celebrate Teej with Mehendi
Women faculty members and staff showed great enthusiasm for Hariyali Teej. As part of the traditional celebrations, a mehendi activity was organised, where teachers and students applied mehendi to each other’s hands. Traditional attire and Teej songs added a vibrant Rajasthani touch to the celebrations.

Various entertaining games were also organised to make the celebration more engaging.
