Jaipur: Jaipur-based child specialist Dr Vivek Sharma was honoured with the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Leadership Award by the Asian Council for Education and Research (UK).
Dr Sharma was also presented with a Certificate of Excellence for his commitment to the ideals of Sarvodaya and his social work aimed at supporting people across different sections of society.
The committee appreciated Dr Sharma’s efforts towards promoting social harmony, coordination and communal amity. His contribution to society and his initiatives for fostering greater understanding and solidarity among people were particularly recognised.
