Jaipur Gupt Vrindavan Dham is all set to celebrate Janmashtami with great enthusiasm and devotion as devotees prepare to welcome Lord Krishna, the beloved son of Nanda. The temple has been beautifully decorated with colourful lights and flowers, creating a festive atmosphere across the premises.

Four special abhisheks will be performed on Janmashtami at 6:30 am, 11:00 am, 4:30 pm and 10:00 pm. A grand Mahabhishek of the deities will be performed with Panchamrit, followed by an offering of 108 special delicacies as bhog.

Gupt Vrindavan Dham, one of Rajasthan’s largest temples and cultural centres, is expecting more than two lakh devotees to visit this year for the Janmashtami celebrations. The festivities will begin with Mangala Aarti in the morning and conclude with the grand Maha Aarti at midnight to mark the birth of Lord Krishna.

At midnight, Lord Shri Shri Krishna will be given a special Mahabhishek with Panchamrit. On the occasion, Krishna and Balaram will be dressed in specially designed velvet outfits prepared by artisans from Vrindavan with intricate traditional embroidery and zari work.

Throughout the day, devotees will participate in chanting and kirtan of the Hare Krishna Mahamantra. The temple administration has also made extensive arrangements to ensure smooth and safe darshan for devotees.

Special queues and barricading have been arranged to regulate the movement of visitors. CCTV cameras and metal-detector-equipped entry gates have been installed as part of the security arrangements, and devotees will be allowed into the temple premises only after security checks.

Arrangements for parking, drinking water, prasad distribution and traffic management have also been made to provide devotees with a safe, convenient and hassle-free experience during the Janmashtami celebrations.
