Jaipur: The day after Janmashtami, Gupt Vrindavan Dham celebrated Nandotsav and the 130th divine appearance anniversary (Vyasa Puja Mahotsav) of Vishwaguru Srila Prabhupada with great devotion, enthusiasm and spiritual fervour.
During Nandotsav, young devotees participated enthusiastically, presenting bhajans, kirtans and devotional dances before Lord Krishna. They offered prayers, special bhog and floral abhishek to the Lord. Sri Sri Krishna-Balaram were adorned in special attire for the occasion, while devotees participated in the Jhulan Utsav by joyfully swinging Laddu Gopal. Traditional makhan-mishri prasad was also distributed among devotees.
In the evening, the Vyasa Puja ceremony was organised, featuring the grand Maha Abhishek of Vishwaguru Srila Prabhupada. Thousands of devotees expressed their gratitude by offering Vyasa Puja tributes and prayers. A special Vyasa Puja offering book, containing tributes written by devotees from different countries and in various languages, was also dedicated to Srila Prabhupada.
As part of the celebrations, 1,008 special bhog offerings lovingly prepared by devotees were offered to Srila Prabhupada. This was followed by a grand palanquin procession, Maha Abhishek, Harinam Sankirtan, Guru Puja and Maha Aarti.
The temple premises remained immersed in devotional fervour throughout the day, resonating with Harinam Sankirtan, bhajans and the joyful participation of devotees.
