Jaipur, June 27 — A magnificent Jagannath Rath Yatra was organized today by Gupt Vrindavan Dham in Jaipur, attracting lakhs of devotees from across the city. The event took place on Friday and saw enthusiastic participation, with devotees pulling Lord Jagannath's chariot using a 108-foot-long sacred rope, immersed in divine joy and devotion.
This marked the 15th Rath Yatra organized by the temple. The procession commenced from Jaipur Hotel near the Collectorate Circle, passing through Khassa Kothi Pulia, Government Hostel Square (MI Road), Panch Batti Circle, Ajmeri Gate, and New Gate, finally concluding around 8:15 PM at the Rajasthan Scouts and Guides Garden near Albert Hall Museum Road.
The grand event was inaugurated by Jaipur MLA Gopal Sharma and Jaipur Municipal Heritage Mayor Kusum Yadav, who also sought blessings from Lord Jagannath, Balabhadra, and Subhadra.
Temple President Shri Amithasna Das shared a spiritual message, saying, “Those who behold the Lord on His chariot and help pull it are freed from all sins and are liberated from the cycle of rebirth.”
The Rath Yatra radiated devotion and spiritual fervor, making it a significant religious event in Jaipur's calendar.
