NIF Global Jaipur, Kamla Poddar Institutes’ students showcased their creative brilliance at the prestigious Global India Couture Week (GICW) held in Mumbai on 19th September.
The presentation featured seven distinctive collections, each reflecting a unique design philosophy and deep cultural inspiration. The showcase began with "मेंRiwani," inspired by the timeless elegance of Bani Thani paintings, followed by "Sacred Currents," which drew from the spiritual essence and flowing energy of the Ganga river.
Next came "Seraphine," a collection celebrating the ethereal and invisible power of air. The journey continued with "Rangrez," a contemporary fashion tribute to the grandeur of Jaipur’s iconic Patrika Gate, and "Chromatic Knots," a vibrant reimagination of Bandhej and traditional tie-dye techniques.
Adding a bold, urban flair, the "Graffiti" collection brought the raw energy of street art into refined silhouettes. The show concluded with "Heritage in Motion," a fusion of ancestral craftsmanship and modern, movement-friendly designs.
Together, these collections embodied a seamless harmony of tradition and innovation, reaffirming the institute’s commitment to nurturing cutting-edge creativity and cultural storytelling through fashion.
