Grand Decoration of Lord Tádakeshwar Mahadev with 3100 kg of Apples on Navratri Ashtami at Jaipur's Tádakeshwar Temple

 

Jaipur:On the occasion of Navratri Ashtami, a grand decoration of Lord Tádakeshwar Mahadev was carried out at the Tádakeshwar Mahadev Temple located at Chhoda Rasta. A total of 3100 kilograms of apples were used for the sacred adornment of the deity. Preparations for the decoration had been underway for two days, involving around 10 individuals who worked diligently to complete the intricate setup.

During the day, Lord Tádakeshwar was given a magnificent ceremonial bath with various types of holy liquids. Numerous offerings were made, including a variety of sweetmeats made of mawa, kheer, fruits, toffees, and biscuits. Devotees gathered in large numbers to offer their prayers and seek blessings from the deity.

Mahant Shakti Maharaj, Vishwas Maharaj, and Bhakt Lokraj Parik provided information about the ceremony, highlighting that the temple courtyard was packed with devotees during the evening aarti. After the aarti, the devotees were able to view the divine procession (Jhanki) of Lord Tádakeshwar Nath. Following the ritual, prasad (fruit offerings) was distributed among the devotees.

The atmosphere was filled with the sounds of "Jai Tádakeshwar Nath" as the devotees, immersed in the mesmerizing decoration and rituals, praised the Lord in a spiritual fervor. It was a truly soul-stirring experience for all present.
