Jaipur. When the goal of education goes beyond securing a safe job and focuses on creating a meaningful impact on society, remarkable achievements are made. This vision of JECRC University has been exemplified by Ujjwal Priyank, who secured All India Rank 10 in the UPSC Civil Services Examination.
Originally from Patna, Ujjwal’s achievement reflects how the right guidance and determination can help one reach the highest milestones. A Computer Science Engineering student at JECRC University, he demonstrated that today’s youth are not only driven by lucrative salary packages but are also motivated by a broader purpose in life.
His commitment to public service became evident when he chose to pursue civil services despite receiving promising career opportunities from global IT companies such as Capgemini and Mindtree. Politely turning down these corporate offers, he decided to dedicate himself to serving the nation.
To maintain focus on his goal while ensuring financial independence, Ujjwal worked as a freelance content creator with Embibe for three and a half years. This step not only helped him remain self-reliant but also provided him the valuable time and concentration needed to prepare for one of the country’s most competitive examinations.
Ujjwal credited his success to the constant support and guidance of his mentors and teachers. His journey highlights that the true purpose of education is not merely financial gain, but enabling progress and development for those sections of society that need it the most.
His accomplishment is part of a growing legacy where students of JECRC are making the nation proud in diverse fields. Expanding this vision further, initiatives like the JU Defence Academy at JECRC University are also preparing disciplined and capable leaders for the nation’s armed forces.
