The sacred festival of Janaki Navami will be celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm at the Chandpole Bazaar-located Shri Ramchandra Ji Temple in Jaipur.
The celebrations will begin early in the morning with the ceremonial Panchamrit Abhishek of Lord Rama and Goddess Sita. Notably, 101 kilograms of pure indigenous cow milk will be used for the ritual.
Following the Abhishek, the deities will be adorned with exquisite jewelry, precious gemstones, and fragrant flower garlands, illuminating the temple premises with a divine aura. On this special occasion, ornaments made of gold and silver, including anklets, toe ornaments, and decorative foot jewelry, will be offered to the deities.
At 2 PM, a grand Janm Aarti (birth aarti) will be performed, where thousands of devotees are expected to participate, filling the atmosphere with devotional chants and fervor. The celebrations will continue throughout the day with the ongoing “Badhai Utsav,” featuring bhajans, kirtans, and cultural performances from morning till night.
Mahant Narendra Tiwari stated that devotees get the rare opportunity to have darshan of Goddess Sita’s feet only once a year on Janaki Navami, attracting pilgrims from far and wide.
