Zero Referral Fee on Products Under ₹1,000 Boosts Jaipur Sellers on Amazon

Jaipur.Sellers in Jaipur and across Rajasthan are witnessing accelerated growth on Amazon India following the introduction of zero referral fees on products priced below ₹1,000. The move has significantly reduced selling costs, encouraging greater participation and expansion among sellers.

Currently, more than 147,000 sellers from Rajasthan are registered on Amazon.in, with new seller registrations growing at an impressive 77% year-on-year. Building on this momentum, Amazon has expanded its zero referral fee coverage more than tenfold—from 1.2 crore products in 2025 to over 12.5 crore products in 2026. Categories benefiting from this initiative include fashion, home, kitchen, and electronic accessories.

Additionally, products priced below ₹300 now enjoy a 20% reduction in Easy Ship fees, enabling sellers to save up to 70% in overall fees. Sellers are reinvesting these savings into expanding product selection, improving pricing strategies, and acquiring more customers.

Sellers from cities like Jaipur, Udaipur, and Jodhpur are rapidly expanding their product listings and leveraging cost savings to grow their businesses. He emphasized that Amazon is simplifying onboarding and providing low-cost tools to support long-term, sustainable growth, including AI-powered insights for smarter decision-making and demand generation programs.

Prateek Gupta, owner of Polestar E-tail and a seller on Amazon.in, shared that the removal of referral fees and continued seller support have significantly boosted their growth. Operating in men’s casual, formal, and ethnic wear for the past five years, his business has grown at a steady 60% annually over the last two years. He expects further growth through improved product quality, competitive pricing, faster delivery, and better customer experience.

To strengthen seller capabilities, Amazon provides structured training programs such as Seller University, Seller Connect, and New Seller Learning Path. Initiatives like the Mega Selection Seller Rewards Program also help sellers expand beyond local markets to reach customers nationwide.

Amazon’s continued investment in infrastructure has further enhanced delivery capabilities across India. In Rajasthan, the company operates two fulfillment centers, one sortation center, around 106 delivery stations, and approximately 474 delivery partners.

With a 50% annual growth in new sellers across India and strong momentum in Rajasthan, Amazon is enabling sellers to expand their reach, remain competitive, and grow effectively in the digital economy.
