Rajasthan Cricket Association and Denmark Cricket Discuss Historic Collaboration for Development

 

Jaipur. In a significant step towards the development of cricket in the state, the Rajasthan Cricket Association (RCA) and Denmark Cricket have held detailed discussions on a potential exchange program aimed at providing international exposure to young players from Rajasthan.

According to RCA Adhoc Committee member Ashish Tiwari, the initiative was made possible through the efforts of Adhoc Committee Convener Dr Mohit Jaswant Yadav. Denmark’s Ambassador to India, Rasmus Abildgaard Kristensen, visited the RCA office and academy, where he met Tiwari and discussed the prospects of collaboration between Denmark Cricket and RCA.

The discussions primarily focused on launching an exchange program between Denmark and Rajasthan, marking a first-of-its-kind initiative in the history of RCA. The program aims to provide young players from the state with international-level exposure and opportunities to develop their skills in diverse playing conditions.

Dr. Yadav stated that the committee is committed to creating a strong sporting environment for young खिलाड़ियों by offering high-quality training and exposure at national and international levels. He added that the proposed collaboration with Denmark Cricket would help players gain valuable experience of international conditions and enhance their technical skills.

Ashish Tiwari further informed that initial discussions centered on organizing matches and activities between Under-19 men’s and women’s teams of both sides. In later phases, players from all age groups are expected to be included in the exchange program.

During his visit, Ambassador Kristensen also toured the historic Sawai Mansingh Stadium and was briefed about its significance and legacy by RCA officials.

The proposed partnership is being seen as a historic step toward elevating Rajasthan cricket to the global stage and providing young talent with much-needed international opportunities.
