Jaipur.May 8.The three-day Jaipur Bal Mahotsav 2026 concluded on Wednesday with great enthusiasm at Pinjrapole Gaushala in Sanganer. Organized to promote local tourism, entrepreneurship, and creative thinking, the festival witnessed participation from all 41 districts of Rajasthan. Children showcased their district identities through tableaux, stalls, and live presentations highlighting local art, culture, handicrafts, cuisine, and tourism.
Haryana BJP In-charge and former Rajasthan BJP President Satish Poonia attended the closing ceremony as the chief guest. He honored participating children with certificates and mementos. Addressing the gathering, Poonia said that such events help develop entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership qualities among children. He added that when children understand and present their districts from a fresh perspective, they not only recognize their cultural heritage but also explore new opportunities for employment and development through local resources.
During the festival, children from various districts presented Rajasthan’s rich cultural diversity through traditional folk arts, handicrafts, local cuisine, and tourist attractions. Their creative displays reflected the vibrant heritage of the state.
Founder of Cognivira, Kamlesh Sharma, said the platform motivates children to move from “thinking to solutions” and helps them develop an early understanding of entrepreneurship. Future Society Secretary Dr. Meena Sharma described the event as a successful people-driven initiative that strengthens confidence, expression, and a sense of responsibility towards one’s region among children.
Children Share Their Experiences
Participants from different districts also shared their experiences during the closing ceremony. Paras Mali from Hanumangarh, Grishma Chauhan from Dungarpur, and Sujal Sharma from Baran said the festival gave them an opportunity to understand and present their districts in a new way. They added that the experience taught them how local identity can be promoted effectively.
All participants were awarded certificates and mementos for their performances. Excitement and pride were clearly visible on the faces of the children.
Digital Bal Mela founder Janhvi Sharma said the festival is not just an event but a continuously evolving platform for children. She added that Digital Bal Mela and Future Society are working together to create opportunities that encourage children to contribute to their communities with innovation and entrepreneurial thinking in the future.
