Jaipur. Bollywood actress Raveena Tandon said that “Operation Sindoor” was necessary and that now anyone thinking of confronting India would think “ten times before doing so.” She expressed gratitude towards the Indian Army and soldiers for their dedication and sacrifices made for the nation’s security.
Raveena Tandon made these remarks while interacting with the media during the ‘Vriksh Mitra Samman Samaroh 2026’ organised on Wednesday at Clarks Amer in Jaipur. During the programme, she also planted a “Sindoor” sapling to mark the anniversary of Operation Sindoor.
The ceremony was organised on the occasion of the 31st annual celebration of Shri Kalpataru Sansthan, an organisation working towards the conservation of nature and culture. Environmental activists from across the country participated in the event.
Addressing the gathering, Raveena Tandon delivered a strong message on environmental conservation. She said that while nobody opposes development, balancing development with environmental protection has become the biggest necessity of the present time.
During the ceremony, several “Vriksh Mitras” who made remarkable contributions in the field of environmental conservation were also honoured for their efforts.
