Nurses Bring New Life and Hope to Newborns on International Nurses Day

Jaipur May 12. International Nurses Day is celebrated every year on May 12 across the world to recognize the dedication, sacrifice, and invaluable contribution of nurses to society.

At the Women’s Hospital, Chandpole, Jaipur, nurses are playing a vital role in the care of newborn babies, giving breath to new life and bringing smiles to countless families through their compassionate service and dedication.

OPD In-charge and Acting State President Ramesh Saini said that the day highlights the importance of empowering nurses with the right skills, support, and resources so they can continue to provide timely, effective, and life-saving care.

International Nurses Day is observed on the birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale, who laid the foundation of modern nursing during the Crimean War by caring for injured soldiers and improving hygiene conditions.

On the occasion of Nurses Day, Nursery In-charge Ramesh Tank, along with Ramesh Saini, Rachna Yadav, Santosh Chaudhary, and Ghanshyam Sen, were seen caring for newborn babies in the nursery by feeding them milk and showering them with motherly affection.

In the Step-Down Nursery, babies are kept with their mothers once they become stable, ensuring both medical care and emotional bonding in a nurturing environment.
