Traditional Announcement Ceremony Held at Virasat Heritage; Culture, Heritage and Traditional Cuisine Promote.
Jaipur: The race for the coveted Miss Rajasthan 2026 crown has officially begun, with 28 finalists being selected from over 6,500 contestants across the state. The grand announcement and sash ceremony of the Top 28 finalists was held at Virasat Heritage in Kukas, Jaipur, in association with Fusion Group, Ruvi Digital and Virasat Heritage.
The finalists received a royal welcome in true Rajasthani style with traditional tilak ceremonies. Dressed in ethnic lehengas designed by Madhuri Chetawani of Dresszilla and adorned with traditional jewellery by Hukum Singh of Shiv Jewellers, the contestants brought the rich culture and heritage of Rajasthan alive on the ramp. This season, Miss Rajasthan aims to promote the state's roots, traditions and cultural identity on a national platform.
Miss Rajasthan Director Ekta Jain announced that the finalists will undergo an intensive 30-day grooming and training programme from June 4 to July 4. The sessions are designed to prepare contestants for national and international beauty pageants.
Organisers Yogesh Mishra and Nimisha Mishra said that the official announcement of the Top 28 finalists and the sash ceremony were inaugurated by chief guest Jagdish Chandra, CMD of Bharat 24. Several eminent personalities from the fashion, beauty and corporate world attended the event, including Alok Sharma of Ruvi Digital, Sandeep Jain of Park Ocean, Pawan Goyal of Safari Group, Mudit Sharma of Vivo, Manish Tambi of Virasat Heritage, Madhu Yadav of Majestic Makeover, Ravindra Singh of Hawa Haven, Naval Shekhawat of R Chandra, CP Rathore of Miss Ocean World, Hukum Singh of Shiv Jewellers, Vinay Soni of Parampara The Jewels, Anshul Jain of Golden Divine, Deepak Mausoon of JKJ Fashion, Dr. Nida Madan, Dr. Vivek Rungta and Arshad Hussain.
Miss Rajasthan remains one of the few platforms that provides a month-long professional grooming programme to help young women excel in the pageant industry. Former winners have brought laurels to the state at national and international levels. Simran Sharma became Miss Grand India, Priyan Sain won Miss Earth India, Mitali Kaur represented India at Intercontinental and Miss Global, while Aruna Beniwal, Vaishnavi Sharma and Tarushree Rai earned places in Femina Miss India. Akanksha Choudhary also gained national recognition through Splitsvilla.
The month-long grooming sessions will feature experts from various fields. Vasu Jain will conduct photography sessions, Shah Rukh will train contestants in ramp walk, Fusion Group will host Zumba sessions, Nirmala Sewani will lead meditation sessions, Yatendra Negi will conduct table etiquette classes, and Ranjita Jain will focus on yoga and wellness. Arshad Hussain will guide eye-contact techniques, while motivational sessions will be conducted by Alok Sharma and Ekta Jain.
Beauty and personality development sessions will include makeup and self-grooming by Madhu Yadav, nutrition by Ruchi Bartaria, dental care by Dr. Nida Madan and skincare by Dr. Vivek Rungta. International sessions will be conducted by Miss Ocean World 2024 Alyssa Miskovska, first runner-up Sonia Dudik and Laura Hudson from Ocean World.
With beauty, talent and tradition coming together, Miss Rajasthan 2026 promises to celebrate the essence of Rajasthan while preparing its contestants for success on the global stage.
