Jaipur. The Guru Purnima festival is being celebrated at Shri Khole Ke Hanuman Temple in Jaipur on Wednesday, with large numbers of devotees gathering at the temple. According to Brijmohan Sharma, General Secretary of Shri Narvar Ashram Seva Samiti, queues of devotees began forming at the temple as early as 6 am. The celebrations will continue until midnight.
At 6 am, Lord Hanuman was given a ceremonial bath with Gangajal, followed by the offering of Sindoor Chola and adorning the deity in a new attire.
Meanwhile, at the temple premises, Gangajal and Panchamrit abhishek was performed at the samadhi of Brahmleen Guru Radhelalji Chaube, the founder of Shri Narvar Ashram Seva Samiti Khole Ke Hanumanji. This was followed by a devotional music programme featuring Guru Pad singing, in which hundreds of devotees participated in Guru Pujan.
A collective Sundarkand recitation will also be organised at the temple from 6 pm.
