‘Experimentation, Skills and Patience Build a Successful Career’: Jayant Mundhra at JECRC Orient 2026

Jaipur: Moving beyond textbook knowledge and gaining insights through real-life learning, new opportunities and inspiring experiences, students experienced a new dimension of learning on the second day of JECRC University's Orient 2026 orientation programme. Through a series of interactive sessions, students were introduced to various initiatives of JECRC, student societies and opportunities available on campus. Eminent personalities from diverse fields also shared their experiences and inspired students to dream big and work towards turning their aspirations into reality.

Encouraging students to think beyond their careers and develop a broader perspective towards life, Nivritti Kumari of the Mewar royal family and Dhruvi Agrawal, Director – People & Culture, JECRC University, engaged in an insightful conversation on leadership, character building, women empowerment, education, artificial intelligence and human values.

Highlighting the difference between success and character, Dhruvi Agrawal said that while a degree can help build a career, it is a strong personality that creates a lasting identity and legacy.

Responding to students' questions, Nivritti Kumari spoke about the traditions of service, courage and sacrifice associated with Mewar and urged students to make the values, ethics and संस्कार received from their families the foundation of their lives. She said that college life is not merely a phase of freedom but also one of responsibility, where individuals have to make their own choices between right and wrong. Defining true leadership, she emphasised that selfless service and sacrifice are its strongest foundations.

Sharing insights from her student life, education in Switzerland and entrepreneurial journey, she highlighted the importance of perseverance, continuous learning, mental health, choosing good friends, and staying connected with one's mother tongue, culture and roots. Speaking about AI, she said that no matter how advanced technology becomes, there can never be a substitute for human touch, emotions and empathy.

Dhruvi Agrawal further told students that the purpose of education is not merely to create successful professionals but to nurture sensitive, responsible and value-driven citizens who can contribute towards bringing positive change in society.

In another session, financial educator and content creator Jayant Mundhra encouraged young students to focus on career planning, skill development and preparing themselves for the rapidly changing professional world. He said that instead of limiting themselves to a single career option at the beginning of their journey, students should explore different fields, learn new skills and continuously work on self-improvement. He encouraged students to use AI effectively, invest their time and energy wisely, learn from failures and move towards their goals with patience and a clear vision.

LinkedIn strategist and personal branding expert Meeti Shah, along with AI content creator and marketing professional Yashika Sadhwani, interacted with students on emerging opportunities in the digital age, personal branding and the evolving world of content creation. They explained that an impactful identity today is built not merely through an online presence but through original thinking, continuous learning and meaningful content. Both speakers encouraged young people to keep pace with technology while confidently showcasing their creativity and skills to the world.

During the alumni interaction, former students shared their experiences, ranging from campus life to their professional journeys after graduation. They discussed career options, higher education, industry challenges and opportunities. Through the interaction, they emphasised that every experience at the university plays an important role in shaping one's future direction.
