Jaipur. The two-act comedy play ‘WHAT HAPPENED?’, presented by renowned theatre artist Heeba Shah, was successfully staged at the Main Auditorium of the Rajasthan International Centre (RIC) on Thursday. Featuring a blend of English and Hindi dialogues, the play not only entertained the audience with humour but also encouraged them to reflect on technology and the importance of human relationships.
The story revolves around two women who, due to circumstances, are forced to spend time away from mobile phones, gadgets and the digital world. Gradually, their real conversations, emotions and sense of companionship begin to develop. On the other hand, the electronic world becomes uncomfortable with this change and realises that human emotions, free will and genuine connections are far more powerful than any technology.
Filled with humour, satire and situations from everyday life, the performance explored the growing dependence on technology and highlighted the importance of relationships, emotions, human connections and genuine communication in an engaging and impactful manner. The audience's laughter and applause throughout the play boosted the performers' enthusiasm.
At the conclusion of the performance, the audience gave the artists a warm round of applause and appreciated the play's theme, powerful acting and impressive presentation. The play was an important part of the Rajasthan International Centre's continued efforts to promote quality theatre and meaningful cultural performances.
