Jaipur. The traditional Rath Yatra of Lord Shri Ram was celebrated with great devotion, faith, and enthusiasm at the Shri Ramchandra Ji Temple in Chandpole Bazaar on Thursday, marking the auspicious occasion of Ashadh Teej (Aasa Di Dasrave).

Before the procession, the deity of Lord Shri Thakur Ji was adorned in magnificent royal attire. The Lord was dressed in a traditional golden robe, crowned with a golden crown, and decorated with pearl garlands, presenting a divine and majestic appearance. The deity was then ceremonially seated on the historic chariot, and the traditional Rath Yatra was taken around the temple premises.

During the procession, devotees filled the temple complex with chants of "Jai Shri Ram" and devotional hymns, creating a deeply spiritual atmosphere. The celebrations culminated in a grand Maha Aarti, accompanied by the auspicious sound of bells and traditional temple instruments, with a large number of devotees participating to seek the Lord's blessings.

On the occasion, a special Rajbhog comprising mango pulp, rice, kadhi, moong, and chapatis was offered to the deity. Following the bhog and aarti, prasad was distributed among the devotees.

Temple Mahant Narendra Tiwari said that the traditional Rath Yatra is an important part of the temple's ancient religious heritage. Every year, a large number of devotees participate in the celebration to seek the blessings of Lord Shri Ram, making it one of the temple's most cherished annual traditions.
