Women Entrepreneurship Gets a New Boost: Over 300 Women Entrepreneurs Unite for Business Networking and Pledge for Organ Donation


Jaipur. In a remarkable initiative promoting women empowerment, entrepreneurship, skill development, and social responsibility, Laghu Udyog Bharati, Jaipur, in collaboration with the Alka Gaur Foundation, organized a grand Business Greet & Meet and Skill Training Session at Hotel Souvenir Peppermint, Jaipur. More than 300 women entrepreneurs, startup founders, home-based business owners, professionals, and women from diverse fields participated in the event, creating opportunities for networking, business growth, and skill enhancement.
The chief guest, former Jaipur Mayor Soumya Gurjar, emphasized that women's economic participation is essential for building a developed India. She said that an economically independent woman forms the foundation of a self-reliant society and a stronger nation. Encouraging women to embrace innovation, technology, and collaboration, she described such initiatives as the need of the hour.
Sunita Sharma, State General Secretary of Laghu Udyog Bharati, said the organization is continuously working to promote women entrepreneurship. She noted that such platforms not only create business opportunities but also strengthen professional networks, build confidence, improve market access, and open new avenues for business expansion.
Dr. Alka Gaur, Founder of the Alka Gaur Foundation, said that today's women are not only the backbone of their families but also a powerful force in the country's economy. She highlighted that with proper training, the right platform, and effective networking, women can become successful entrepreneurs while generating employment opportunities for many others.
Dr. Gaur also emphasized that festivals such as Sawan and Teej are not only cultural celebrations but also significant economic opportunities that promote the "Vocal for Local" initiative, handicrafts, cottage industries, and women-led enterprises. She said Indian festivals can help local products reach national and international markets.
A special highlight of the event was an Organ Donation Pledge Ceremony, where all participating women entrepreneurs pledged to support organ donation and spread awareness about this noble cause, encouraging more people in society to become organ donors.
