15 Lakh Steps in 21 Minutes: ‘Aapno Ghoomar-2026’ Sets World Record
A new world record was created at Aapno Ghoomar-2026, organised by Sadbhavana Parivar, celebrating the remarkable confluence of Rajasthan’s cultural heritage and women’s empowerment. Thousands of women dressed in traditional Rajasthani attire performed the iconic Ghoomar dance together, with 15 lakh dance steps recorded in just 21 minutes. The India Book of World Records presented the award among the participants during the event.
Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari and Bollywood actress Mahira Sharma attended the grand cultural celebration.
Sadbhavana Parivar President Manoj Pandey said the primary objective of Aapno Ghoomar is to preserve Rajasthan’s folk art, culture and traditions while providing women with an empowering platform to showcase their talent and cultural heritage.
A lucky draw was also organised at the conclusion of the programme to encourage and motivate the participants.
