Jaipur. The Cultural Club of Kanoria School of Law for Women, Jaipur, organised a farewell ceremony for the final-year B.A. LL.B. students on Saturday on the theme “Hasta La Vista: The Royal Edition.” The senior students were given a grand welcome with traditional drum beats.
Dr. Nidhi Raisinghani, Head of the Department of European Languages, Literature and Culture Studies, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, was the chief guest. The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by a welcome address by the Principal, Dr. Vartika Arora.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Vartika Arora expressed happiness over the institution’s journey, progress and achievements. She appreciated the cooperative attitude of the graduating batch and said that the students had participated in every activity with enthusiasm and responsibility. She welcomed all the students to the farewell ceremony and wished them a bright and successful future.
Chief guest Dr. Nidhi Raisinghani praised the students’ talent and said she was overwhelmed by their impressive performances. She appreciated the way the students showcased their artistic abilities and talents, making the occasion memorable. She also lauded the spirit of mutual support among the students, describing it as a positive reflection of their personality and team spirit. She extended her best wishes to all the graduating students for their future careers and lives.
The farewell featured a range of activities, including a ramp walk, introductions, dance performances, poetry, fun competitions and a talent round. Students were presented with various farewell titles. A special “Behind the Scenes” video showcasing memorable moments from college life brought an emotional touch to the event. The game rounds further added excitement and enthusiasm to the celebrations.
The activities strengthened friendship, cooperation and team spirit among the students, making the farewell a memorable occasion.
The farewell titles were awarded as follows: Miss Farewell – Mishqa Zehra; Runner-up – Mansi Chaudhary; Miss Popular – Akansha Shekhawat; Miss Best Dressed – Ekta Saraswat; Miss Versatile – Parul Rathore; and Miss Benevolent – Yashi Mudgal.
The programme was conducted by Assistant Professors Purnima Gautam, Nirupama Gehlot, Tejasvi Sharma and Disha Bangarwa, along with students of the eighth semester. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by student Palak Raj.
