Jaipur It is a moment of pride as Poornima Institute of Engineering & Technology (PIET) has officially been granted autonomous status by the Rajasthan Technical University (RTU), Kota. This significant milestone places PIET among the select few autonomous engineering institutions in the state.
With this addition, 3 out of the 5 autonomous engineering institutions in Rajasthan now belong to the Poornima & JIET Group of Institutions, marking the group's continued leadership in the field of higher education. For over three decades, the group has remained one of the largest educational networks in Rajasthan in terms of student strength and academic excellence.
The announcement was acknowledged and endorsed by key dignitaries, including Dr. DK Palwalia, Dean of Academic Affairs at RTU Kota, and Dr. SK Singh, Vice Chancellor of RTU Kota.
Rahul Singhi, Director of Poornima Group of Colleges, expressed enthusiasm about the development, noting that the autonomous status will offer greater academic flexibility and innovation opportunities for students and faculty.
Dr. Dinesh Goyal, Principal and Director of Poornima Institute of Engineering & Technology (now Autonomous), shared that the institution is committed to leveraging this autonomy to further enhance the quality of education, research, and industry collaboration.
