Army Day Parade to Showcase Bravery and Sacrifice of Indian Army in Jaipur: CM Bhajanlal Sharma

 

Jaipur. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma announced that the Indian Army will organize the Army Day Parade in Jaipur on January 15, offering the public a unique opportunity to witness the valour and sacrifices of Indian soldiers. The CM emphasized that the event would be grand and extensive, reflecting the glorious legacy of the Indian Army.

Chairing a high-level meeting at the Chief Minister’s Office on Thursday, CM Sharma reviewed the preparations for the Army Day Parade in the presence of senior officials from the Indian Army and Rajasthan government. He directed the administration to work in close coordination with military authorities to complete all arrangements on time.

The CM instructed the Jaipur District Collector to ensure all necessary preparations at the Mahal Road in Jagatpura, the designated venue for the parade. He also directed that special arrangements be made for dignitaries, military officers, and families of martyrs attending the event. Jaipur’s Police Commissioner was advised to implement a robust plan for traffic and parking management at the parade site.

“This parade will be a tribute to the bravery and heroism of our soldiers. It will ignite a deeper sense of patriotism, especially among the youth,” said CM Sharma.

Equipment Display & Cultural Events from January 8–15

Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, General Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the South Western Command, informed the meeting that a military equipment exhibition will be held from January 8 to 15, showcasing the technological prowess of the Indian Army.

On January 15, in addition to the Army Day Parade, a special program titled ‘Shaurya Sandhya’ will be held at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, featuring cultural performances and a drone show narrating stories of courage and diversity.

He also shared that an ‘Honour Run’ will be organized on December 7 along JLN Marg in Jaipur as part of the pre-event celebrations.

The meeting also included a presentation on the parade preparations. Present at the meeting were Director General of Police Rajeev Kumar Sharma, senior officers of the Indian Army, and top officials from the state government.
