Eye Check-up Camp Organized for Male and Female Inmates at Central Jail Jaipur

 

Jaipur. An eye check-up camp was organized today at Central Jail Jaipur for both male and female inmates. The camp was conducted by Abhay Kesari NGO in collaboration with Swanetra Eye Hospital, Jaipur, with the support of Anuja Golecha, Kanishka Jain, and Pinky Bengani.

During the camp, around 320 male inmates and 180 female inmates underwent eye examinations. Following the screenings, approximately 250 inmates will also be provided free spectacles. The initiative addressed a long-standing issue faced by inmates suffering from vision-related problems.

The camp was organized under the inspiration of Director General of Prisons, Ashok Rathore, and through the efforts of Suman Maliwal, Deputy Inspector General (Range Jaipur).

Officials present at the camp included Sumer Singh, Deputy Superintendent of Central Jail Jaipur; Saroj Vishnoi, Deputy Superintendent of Women’s Correctional Home Jaipur; along with Dr. Sachin Jadaun and Dr. Kailash Vijayvargiya. Administrative staff and inmates were also present in large numbers.

Additionally, around 120 personnel from the Prison Headquarters Rajasthan Jaipur, DIG Range Jaipur office, Women’s Jail, Central Jail, Ministry staff, RAC, and jail staff also underwent eye check-ups during the camp.
