Mass Tree Plantation Drive Conducted at Kanota Schools During Monsoon

Jaipur. As part of the ongoing monsoon tree plantation campaign led by Shrikant Samaria, a large-scale plantation drive was carried out at Government College, Kanota, and Mahatma Gandhi School, Kanota.

Saplings of various species, including banyan, peepal, neem, bael (bilva), and other shade-giving trees, were planted on the campuses. Teachers and students enthusiastically participated in the environmental initiative.

To ensure the safety and healthy growth of the saplings, tree guards were installed around the newly planted trees. At the conclusion of the programme, fruits and refreshments were distributed among the students.

Addressing the students, Shrikant Samaria urged every citizen to plant at least five trees during the monsoon season. He emphasized that only through collective participation in tree plantation campaigns can future generations be assured of a clean environment and fresh air. He added that large-scale plantation is the need of the hour and encouraged everyone to actively contribute towards making the environment greener and healthier.
